Key Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize and create high-quality designs across a variety of mediums including web, print, and digital.
• Design and layout advertisements, ensuring they meet the newspaper’s specifications and visual standards.
• Develop branding materials such as logos, business cards, and other marketing collateral.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet both business and user needs.
• Stay updated with design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure designs are modern and competitive.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for websites, mobile apps, and other digital products.
• Ensure consistency in design across all platforms and mediums.
• Iterate and refine designs based on feedback and evolving project goals.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver designs within agreed-upon timelines.
• Keep abreast of best practices in the media and publishing industry and refresh related processes and procedures as required
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Proven experience in design, preferably in a creative or digital agency environment.

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or Sketch.

• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions.

• Team player with a collaborative attitude.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work.

• Experience in SPH newspaper submission will be an advantage
