Berries benefits you may not know!

Do you know that berries are loaded with antioxidants and high in fiber? Berries may help lower your blood pressure, cholesterol and protect against cancer. Consuming a small portion of berries daily can help in strengthing you metabolism hence they are weight loss-friendly fruits which may help manage your weight better.

Ingredients:

250g of mix or single berries of your choice

250ml of Plain / Vanilla Yoghurt

2 tablespoon of honey

Instructions:

  1. Put the berries with yoghurt and honey into a food processor or blender and blitz into puree form. (Remove the seed and/or stalk of the fruit if any)
  2. Pour it into a Popsicle tray or individual mould and freeze it overnight.

TIP:

This recipe goes well with other fruits such as peaches, pineapples, kiwi or even watermelon as long as you adjust accordingly to 50/50 fruit to yoghurt.
