Responsibilities:
• Demand forecasting for stock replenishment for fresh fruits / vegetables category.
• Negotiating with suppliers in the best interests of the company.
• Supply Chain management including but not limited to developing and fostering both existing and new products with current suppliers, actively seeking out new products and opportunities with potential suppliers, trade and shipping matters, waste etc.
• The role will involve training within the Vegetable department, covering all aspects from sourcing to retailing.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ work experience in similar capacity
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Good team player with strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Possess good analytical skills (knowledge in financial management, supply chain management, retail management, marketing will be an advantage)
• Have a passion for and be knowledgeable in agriculture, food safety, and sustainability
• Independent, self-motivated, resourceful and reliable
