Nonya Sambal Chilli Sauce is a versatile traditional gourmet condiment that is much-loved by many. It is a delicate blend of shrimp paste, chilli, onion, garlic and other ingredients. Happy Family Traditional Nonya Sambal Chilli Sauce has a blazing sweet and spicy flavour with a tinge of sourness. It can be served as a delicious food dip or as a mix for meats, seafood and vegetables.
Sambal Sotong (Squid)
Ingredients:
- 2 Tomatoes, cut into eights
- 1 Onion, peeled and sliced
- 1Kg Squid, cleaned and skinned, cut into ½ inch rings
- 2 tsp Heritage Farm Classic Olive Oil
- 4 tsp Happy Family Traditional Nonya Sambal Chilli Sauce
- 50ml Water
- 1 tbsp Happy Family Fine Sugar
- 1 tsp Happy Family Fine Salt
- 2Lime, cut (optional)
Instructions:
1. Add all ingredients into a heat pan
2. Cover and let it cook for 6 – 8mins
3. Serve with cut limes
